What Adaptability Does
Adaptability supports students with diverse abilities by providing teacher consultation support and providing Adapted Physical Education services.
Adaptability was founded by Adapted PE teacher, Charlie Rowe, in 2016. Prior to opening Adaptability, Charlie served as the Adapted Physical Education Specialist for a Chicagoland Special Education cooperative and their member school districts.
How It Started
Charlie began to dream of opening his own company to ensure children have access to quality Physical Education in November of 2015. During the start up process, he found out his goddaughter would soon be born with Down Syndrome and CHD. This diagnosis helped motivate him to take the leap so children with disabilites would have the opportunity to receive the quality Physical Education they need. Adaptability has steadily grown since then!
