What Adaptability Does
Adaptability supports students with diverse abilities by providing quality Adapted Physical Education classes and services. Adaptability was founded by Charlie Rowe after seeing a large need for quality physical education services for students with diverse abilities. Prior to opening Adaptability in June of 2016, Charlie served as the Adapted Physical Education teacher for a Chicagoland Special Education cooperative and their member school districts.
How It Started
Charlie began to dream of opening his own company to ensure children have access to quality Physical Education in November of 2015. During the start up process, he found out his goddaughter would soon be born with Down Syndrome and CHD. This diagnosis helped motivate him to take the leap so all children, including his goddaughter, would have the opportunity to receive the quality Physical Education they need. Adaptability has steadily grown since then!
